Easy to take the saw to material instead of the material to the saw.
I would recommend it, the value is good and the quality is okay. Set up was fairly simple, had to make a few adjustments. I suggest you check the measured cut before using it after it has been set up for a while. The only concern I have is the base mount for the circular saw. You would think Kreg would have a better and strong base then the plastic used. It's okay, and the clamp that holds the base to the adjustable cutting slide is a little weak as well. I expect I'll have to change that after some serious use. What ever you do....don't drop it.I would recommend it, the value is good and the quality is okay. Not a quality tool
I’ve been using the pocket hole jigs for years and so figured I’d try this product out. Lots of plastic parts, and so it feels pretty flimsy. I have a worm drive skill saw that I used with this, and the clamps that hold the saw on the guide really only fit on one side, and I’d have to readjust it after each cut to make sure it was square. This is a must have tool for anyone that works with sheets of plywood. It makes cutting down a 4 x 8 ft sheet of material easy, safe, accurate, repeatable cuts and doable by one person without the cost and size of a panel saw. This is another very innovative design from "kreg jig" that is well built and will provide many years of service.

WOW !!! I'm totally impressed!!! I could never cut very good with a circular saw and I'm doing a project were I have to rip a bunch of 3/4" plywood and I saw a video on this kreg jig so I figured I would give it a try. I put my circular saw on it which took no time and started cutting I set it up to cut 3" off the length of the plywood and it's dead on the money!! Now I cut excited straight and smooth lines every time!! Thank you very much!!WOW !!! I'm totally impressed!!! I checked a few reviews on this Kreg rip cut guide. This is a top rated tool for making rip cuts of large pieces of stock like a 4x8 sheet of plywood. I own this fine tool. It is easy to use and easy to set up. When properly set up and with the correct blade on your circular saw, You will be making a lot of accurate cuts, provided the edge you are guiding on is square, YES, you can cross cut with this for some cuts. remember you are limited to a 24 inch wide cut. If you are crosscutting and need any wider than 24 inches, then you will need the Kreg accucut for that. Kreg makes some great tools. If you want a great rip cut guide that is easy to use and set up then you will want to get this one.
