First of all, I ordered the 1/2" long shaft when I needed the 3/4". Common mistake according to the seller (Rob) . I returned the wrong mantle clock movement & was sent the correct unit. Anyone who owns a model of Howard-Miller clock knows that it is good to have a reliable and cost-efficient vendor to assist with this model of Platform Escapement.
