Killer cd-Killer Queen
This cd is great for new and old fans of queen. It has the perfect balance of new takes on old songs and great tributes. From Gavin DeGraw ans Sum 41 to Los Lobos and The Flaming Lips. Its just a great cd to pop in and hear an eclectic blend of bands playing the greatness that was Queen. It will. It will. ROCK YOU!

Jon Brion is what makes this excellent
If it were not for the inclusion of Jon Brion performing one of Queens BEST songs, this CD would not be excellent. I listened to this a month ago when I bought it and can say that the remainer of the content of the CD I already forgot about.

Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen by Various Artists
The real reason I bought this CD is actually cause I am a Breaking Benjamin fan and needed to own this CD for the song by BB called Who Wants To Live Forever. I absolutely love the song! But I also have to admit there were a few more songs by various bands that were worth the purchase. I would recommend this CD to Queen fans- even though some songs were not near as good as the original songs but you have to give credit and respect to those bands for putting forth the effort and tributing to such a band like Queen- I would also recommend this CD to those who like variety and even to those who aren't a big fan of Queen.The real reason I bought this CD is actually cause I am a Breaking Benjamin fan and needed to own this CD for the song by BB called Who Wants To Live Forever. Look for the single
I bought this cd because their was a cover a "Tie Your Mother Down" by Shinedown of whom I am a big fan of. Unknown to me that it would be the only good song on the cd, which doesn't mean anything since that is why I bought the cd for in the first place. I listen to alot of music, and I haven't heard of half these artists. Where are the "big names"? I saw the tribute concert after Freddie Mercury died and I was blown away. It was a great show with alot of big name artists there, but not on this cd. Great listening surprise
I bought this cd because I am a Queen fan. I saw the other artist on the back and really was curious how they would interpret such a legacy, but they all did an AWESOME job! Noone should be disappointed when buying this cd, unless they either don't know the artists (especially QUEEN) or they just don't have much of a palate for great music. BUY THE CD IF YOU HAVE CHANCE AND ENJOY!!
