The lid does not clamped tight to the box with the factory clips at all…. Once you clip the clips on the lid can still slide left and right with ease ..
It should fit very tight, considering the fact that it’s on a vehicle that will be jumping and hitting bumps the entire time

We've used these lids for years and they have always fit tightly, in fact we've frequently had to use tools to get the clips pulled up over the locking tabs especially on YFZ450R's. We have also used foam tape (3/4" wide, 1/8" thick) sticky-side on the bottom of the Moflow lid to take up some slack when needed and allow a tighter fit, better seal.
