    Joe Silvera delivers the metal...

    I am a skilled silversmith/enamelist but I've been away from it for decades. I've just set up my studio and I felt that I should start over at square one recovering my former skills. The book is clearly presented, easy to read, and has excellent advice, tips, information.

    This book is perfect for beginners and those with experience can use as a reference and technique refresher. Beautiful pictures and well written instructions make this book a keeper in my Metalsmithing library. Techniques translate well for studio use with adjustments and allowences for full size torches.

    An interesting read

    Hi, I have just begun a hobby of working with stones and making jewelry and thought that this book would be nice to have in my new hobby library. I have only glanced through the book and have not yet put any of it to any practical use so as to whether or not the book is of any use, is to early to tell. But in all appearances, it looks like a book that will help me in my new hobby.
