Works good overall for light duty work but the collet design needs to be improved greatly, somewhat dangerous the way it is now, when I was using a cut off disc the entire bit flew off the rotary tool. The cut off wheel flew off at rate high speed (20,000rpm) left a mark in the ceiling, bounced off the ceiling and then stuck itself into the wall. All of this happened getting bound up in the material I was cutting with it however the collet should prevent this all together.

Great rotary tool with extension cable.
I am an RC modeler and DIY builder and this comes in handy in everything I build. I could not believe the price for this quality rotary tool so I checked reviews and videos before I made the purchase. I'm so glad that I did, this is the perfect tool for me and has made my projects go so smoothly that I can focus on other projects sooner. I was able to clean glue off of my wife's repaired candle holder, carve stars on DIY flags and cut the excess off of receptacle boxes in a house I am building. One of the best rotary tool sets on the market
One of their best tool sets, but can be a bit hard to get. Lots of bits and cutoff wheels and the flex shaft makes this an easy tool to use (need to lube it every few hours with lithium). The handle also makes this easy to control. Low power unit, so don't bear down on your work, but also doesn't heat up much and low power reminds you not to overheat the bits. The case is also a star - easy and secure way to keep lots of bits organized and plenty of extra space below the tray. I liked this unit so much I bought two more as gifts. Best Bang for the Buck Rotary Tool Kit
First rotary tool I've owned and I'm real glad that I researched and decided on the WEN 1.3 Amp tool kit. The drill runs flawlessly, stays cool and performs all the functions well.
