A must read for all interested in true blend of science and religion.
Fantastic book. Inspirational and spiritual. Made me want to head to Australia to do my own "walkabout". Such an eye-opener about "primitives" who really have a spiritual relationship with their maker, the earth, their own bodies, the animals and all of nature. Could see how this would worry the establishment, people who were under the radar and living naturally. This book was recommended to me by other spiritually minded people. It was so interesting, I could hardly put it down. I have since bought copies for and or recommended it to others. The kind of book that works well in any discussion group, a real eye opener. The only thing missing is what happened to both the author and the tribe after their experience together. One of the easiest to read and understand books I have ... Fantastic book. Read this book!
My favorite book Ive read so far, this is an incredible story of a woman who takes a journey through a desert in Australia with a very unique tribe of Aborigines. They're the most beautiful of people. Very connected to Mother Nature, to a Higher Being. It's incredible how their every need is provided daily. Material wealth has no value. These people make you see that we are the lost ones, valuing things, that, in the end, will not even matter. Excellent book that I recommend to anyone willing to listen.
