    Accent on Achievement- Alto Saxophone is Great!

    Accent on Achievement for Alto Sax is the required classbook for my sons intermediate band class so we really didnt have a choice of selections. That being said, these books are very well written in a clearly progressive learning way that makes the learning fun and easy to do. My son had the beginner book last year, the first year of ever learning the alto sax, and within a three day weekend, was caught up with the other beginners that had been studying for 6 months. I would definately recommend the Accent on Achievement Series for anyone wanting to learn a new instrument.

    Good lesson manual for the novice sax player.

    Good lesson manual. I bought this for my granddaughter who is learning the sax. She said its very helpful, but as with most young aspiring musicians, doesn't practice near enough. Recommend this for anyone starting out... recommend practice too. :)
