    The Real Story: The Gap into Conflict by Stephen R. Donaldson

    I loved the book. Donaldson's writing in this book, as in anything of his I have read, is compelling. This book shocked me by the situations and language because I hadn't experienced anything like it from him previously. The foundation for the series was set forth in this book. I highly recommend this entire series to anyone who loves science fiction.

    The first book in a series of 5. Excellent Sci-Fi.

    This is in my opinion one of the best stories to come out from Donaldson. It has it all, and does not linger on forever, as "The chronicles of Thomas Covenant" tend to... Donaldson is a master in descriptive writing, and once you get started, you just don't wanna stop reading. I first read it about 6 years ago on recommendation (a friend borrowed me the books), and has since then been searching for them here in Sweden. Luckily I found them here on eBay :) In conclusion; read them, they're great!
