I tried to cancel this item 10 minutes after ordering, but they denied the next day saying “I am sorry to say we sent your order out before we your received your request to cancel. In order to enable us to ship within 24 hours, our system automates most of the work of receiving and processing orders.” However the item didn’t ship until several days later, arriving almost 2 weeks after I ordered. A worthy sequel to a fine novel

This novel is the sequel to "A Dog's Purpose," and happily I had read that novel before reading this one, and pretty much knew what to expect. Here we have the further adventures of the canine who was the protagonist of the first book, except he's now taking care of the step-granddaughter of the boy/man in the first book. The story, told completely from the dog's point of view and with the dog's understanding of things, does include dialogue among the human characters so we have a good idea of what's going on with them, as well. This is the third doggie novel I have read by this author, and I highly recommend it to anyone who feels that dogs take care of us as much as we take care of THEM.

A DOG'S JOURNEY not the quality of the original

This sequel to A DOG'S PURPOSE was really disappointing - the dog continues to be reborn as he was in the original but each life was disappointing and very depressing overall. I cannot recommend this book, There is a new movie of this book coming out in 2019, and I have no idea how it will be if they keep the story the same,

  • Great book for dog lovers.Comfortable read to while your time away.Get read

Fantastic book. I couldn't put it down. Boy did I cry. A beautiful view of life from a dog's perspective. Or I should say a dog's many lives., And they say cats have nine lives, chuckle. Well if you already weren't a dog lover, you will be after this read. Great author. I am reading them backwards(not that it matters) but I just bought the author's book "A Dog's Purpose" which he wrote before this one. I am looking forward to another good read. Excellent book.

  • Book review

Bought for my daughter, she was thrilled. Had actually asked for it from the local bookstore for Christmas. Got it used, she never knew.
