    Thank goodness for this book!

I’m insulin resistant with PCOS and this book let me know why the weight wasn’t coming off no matter what I did. This shed a light on me and a different way to look at my condition. I’m so glad that I can still go out with the family and I can still order from the menu. That right there was a winner in my eyes so I don’t have to stay home while they go. Thank you for this book!!

  • Excellent and really helps

This is the first and most important book of 2 written by the same authors. The second is called the Feel Good Diet. Both give very helpful information about combining carbs and protein in order to slow down the entry of sugar into the blood stream. This is called Link and Balance and the little pictures they use to illustrate the point stay with you and influence your choices. High then low blood sugars cause you to be on an emotional roller coaster which is unpleasant for you and those around you! When you maintain normal blood sugars without the spikes, you are much calmer and happier. This diet plan works. One of my 3 favorite weight loss books.

  • Best health investment I made this year!

This book is beneficial to have if you are trying to lose weight! You learn about the two hour fat window, why you shouldn't eat carbs by themselves, how to link protein with carbs in order to slow down carb digestion, etc. I learned a lot by reading it & the book is still a reference tool I use when planning my daily meals.

  • Lose weight and keep it off

I am in my 60's.When I went through menopause I gained over 20 pounds. Ten I took off and the rest just wouldn't go. Since following this eating plan --which does include portion control and exercise as well as protein linking--I have lost 12 pounds without ever being seriously hungry. I love this book. It has given me the information I needed to get back to my best weight and stay there.
