Great Beginners Guitar
Got this for my 10 year old son. He started taking lessons a month ago and his guitar teacher recommended it. Book has clear layout and is easy for him to follow. He is learning with ease.

Excellent Book
I love this book! I grew up with the Beatles, and on a lark recently started learning Beatle songs. I'm a moderately decent guitar player and had spent the last thirteen years playing Bluegrass which I also love.I wanted to play something refreshing and more complex and this was just the ticket. I've had to work a little to learn new chords and rhythms but worth every minute of effort. Its a joy to be able to play these wonderful chords and sounds I've heard all my life and sing the great lyrics. Man they were great songwriters. Sometimes I just go back and forth between two chords and go "wow." The chords are complex enough to get the right sounds, yet easy enough that with some effort you can learn them. I actually bought my first copy at a garage sale for two dollars, but liked it so ... I love this book! I grew up with the Beatles, and on a lark recently started learning Beatle songs. Okay, you have to think "simple and easy." The chord progressions really help to define the song itself, and even tho' I found an Fm# chord a little tricky in the beginning, you will soon master it. It's funny though -- some of the way early Beatles songs are not in there -- Love Me Do, etc., but..for the most part, it's pretty complete. I recommend it for anyone who is eager to learn those Beatles gems on their guitar.Okay, you have to think "simple and easy."
