Seems to be a hardened rubber material, they sit flush with the flanges on the lifting saddle, doesn't fit as snug as photos depict. Moves around in the jacks saddle but that's fine. I have both 2 and 3 tonne halfords jack. Time will tell if these rubber pads last.
