    Awesome book

    The author is brilliant at presenting detailed, easy-to-understand instructions and illustrations to create a variety of painted rocks, including examples of various types of rocks that would work best for a given design. You don't have to be a master painter to follow these instructions.

    Love the Lin Wellford books

    I have Grandkids that love animals and rocks. With practice, this book should help me make them all very happy. I have bought 3 other Lin Wellford "rock painting" books and am anxious to get started. They are all very well written and easy to understand and follow. I should have ever thing that doesn't move outside, painted in no time. I did a few One Stroke calsses and the instructor had us use different mediums and I loved the rock painting class. An easy, inexpensive way to decorate the garden, actually the whole outdoors. Would recomment the line of books if you want to do something fun and rewarding. Thanks

    Helpful and wonderful Book

    This is a great book with wonderful pictures and easy to understand. My family and I had a blast hunting for rocks to paint on. With anything else, practice, practice, practice. If your hunting a fun way to get into painting this may be the way your looking for. A few acrylics, a very few brushes and a rock. No expensive canvas, and other equipment like easels to buy. Lin Wellford has tried very hard to explain the details of painting on rocks to painters as well as the folks who have never painted anything before. Great book for beginners!!

    Great book for beginners, also has more difficult patterns for advanced rock painting.

    Step by step easy to follow picture instructions. The pics of bugs is my first try at painting rocks following instructions in the book.
