    Works as it should

    This was the OEM CD drive in my computer. I've replaced it twice so it's apparently not the most durable, but I do use mine a lot more than the average user. It works very well burning DVD's and playing games.

    OK for the price

    This drive works fine I suppose, and is fine for the price, but it's not great.. By that I mean it plays and burns OK but burn quality is not as good as I'd like to see: if you burn a CD on it and then scan the CD on this drive (and on other drives), you see higher than desirable error counts. Likely these are seconds and quality is hit or miss..
