Great value and components are good quality.
I purchased this lift kit for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic. Original plan was just to buy stock parts due to worn leaf springs/bushings/shackles and shocks. But getting this kit is a better value and I gain added ground clearance. It was installed with 119k miles on the odometer, don't let the low miles fool you, it has lived in the Midwest for all that time through winters with lots of snow/ice/salt. It took an entire weekend to install on my Jeep. A good tool set with sockets and wrenches are definitely required and in my case; breaker bars, air compressor, angle grinder with cutting wheel, dremel, BFH, seafoam deep creep, sawz-all, air hammer and a torch. Extras I purchased: Front and rear bar pin eliminators Rear shackles Motofab rear bar pin flag nut All new hardware Spring ... I purchased this lift kit for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic. The worst part was the top shock nuts, which were seized on my Jeep. Had to use a Dremel to cut those off. The bottom came off fairly easy. I used bar pin eliminators for the front shocks. The rear leaf springs were a PITA because of rusted/seized leaf spring bolts, only one of the four came off easily. The other three had to be cut off with a sawzall, which was fine since I had all new hardware. The top shot mounts were also a PITA. Those had to be cut off with the angle grinder. Then I used a Husky air hammer to pop out the welded nuts. I used the Motofab flag nuts to make the install a little bit easier on myself. I didn't have a good before picture but you can tell which one is stock height. I also added another picture after getting new 265 /75 R16 tires. It filled in quite nicely. It would have been nice to see this kit include some hardware and even some grease for the urethane bushings. They're quite noisy even after being greased.
