  • Touching insight revealing humanity during WWII

When WWII is experienced through the eyes of children, they see only how events affect the things in their own world. Normal life is disrupted. Enter an American pilot who takes it on himself to show compassion on the war-torn population. How are his acts of kindness received? How does it affect the children involved? Be sure to read this story. Children can relate; adults will be instructed. This story has stayed with me for years after reading it the first time!
