    Wake Up People!

After watching Snowden on Netflix I had to buy the book. Some have complained about the "dryness" of his writing, and lack of humor. But I found the book fascinating. It starts out with Edward's childhood. His fascination with computers seems to have come from his father who was a engineer in the Navy and had brought home gaming systems and the earlier pc's. Snowden learned fast and years later after failing out of Special Forces due to an accident, he gets enlisted into the NSA. • Interesting subject matter.

It was good to get Snowden's perspective after reading all the negative things that the US press wrote about his revelations. The book shined a light on what the US gov't does behind closed doors (many good and some not very ethical).

  • Truth, documented eternally

Words matter to me. Communication equals understanding. The media's word "just' biased Snowden's humanity and credibility.
