    Large print and easy to read

    I got my first large scale Rand McNally road atlas back in 2004. I loved it but it had gotten outdated. I was disappointed to find most stores do not carry printed road atlases any more because of the GPS system in most cars. I'm the type of driver who says I need to go here but what are the alternative ways of getting there. The road atlas suits me just fine. My eyes aren't what they used to be so the large pages and large print help tremendously.

    Rand McNally Road Atlas Large Print

    Love the large print. As I get older it is more difficult to read reg printed material. I saw the large print version and said yes that is perfect for me and my friend. So I bought 2. so much easier to read, the color maps make it easier to find smaller cities and towns. Love the product, wish more publishers would get on the stick and begin printing for the baby boomers.

    large scale is great

    I like the large format as it is easier for the wife and me to read. The spiral binding makes it easy to handle in the car. Maps are detailed and easy to use. Very nice

    A good map is still needed

    In the age of the GPS you would think maps are obsolete. The 2016 Road Atlas is a great addition to any travelers auto. The main thing i use it for is finding alternate routes and as important planning trips in our RV. The Atlas gives you a good visual of your overall trip with good point to point mileage information as well as nearby locations that are points of interest.

    I'ts a great atlas, easy to read, with lots of info. The only drawback is when the road your are on is in the split between the pages, it is VERY difficult to figure out which page you should be on and you loose the line between pages
