Overhyped and Overpriced
I bought one of these pads to replace my trusty 6160 keypad thinking it would make controlling my Vista 20P panel easier. I should have read the manual first. All it really does is give you a brightly lit touchscreen way to arm and disarm your system--and it's also easy and intuitive to deal with guest codes and such. Anything else you need to do, like add devices or change devices, you need to go into a clunky "console mode" which simply emulates what you would do with a 6160 keypad. Big deal. But, you can also stick in a microSD card and display a slideshow of family photos on your alarm keypad.
