A beautiful, engaging, and powerful book of art.
BEAUTIFUL book with countless Mass Effect concept art and characters. This book really goes into depth of how much work Bioware put into this game, and it is interesting to see how far it has grown since ME1. There are some very beautiful pieces of characters drawn in different styles that really catch the eye. The book has many landscape arts from the Mass Effect universe as well as concept landscape art (terrain and building structures). There are some interesting Illium concept art in this book that I hope to see reused in the upcoming DLC! Alongside the characters they include captions for further explanation. My only complaint was that there was no Aria T'Loak! There were arts from Omega, but nothing of Aria; that made me sad face. But overall, excellent book of the Mass Effect ... Being an amateur comic artist myself, i really enjoyed my time going through this art book, the different explanations for each design is insanely helpful and it includes sections on all 3 games. But my only problem is the detail for the mass effect 3's art, because it really is lacking since its merely as deep as the others and lacks the different steps that ultimately makes the character especially for Kaiden and Ashley.Being an amateur comic artist myself, i really enjoyed my time going through this art book, the different explanations for each design is insanely helpful and it includes sections on all 3 games.
