The Nikon 1 V1 is a handheld digital camera with resolution of 10.1 MP, and this body-only unit comes in white. This camera requires the addition of a lens before use. The Nikon 1 V1 10.1 MP camera uses an interchangeable lens system with a Nikon 1 lens mount. Lenses compatible with this mount type work with the digital camera. This compact digital camera comes with a CMOS image sensor type that uses a CX image sensor format. Total number of pixels with the unit is 12 million with 10.1 million effective pixels. Shutter speed for the Nikon 1 V1 is variable and comes with preset shutter modes. Maximum shutter speed for the Nikon 1 V1 10.1 MP camera is 1/16,000 of a second. The slowest shutter speed possible with the Nikon 1 V1 10.1 MP camera is 30 seconds. Shutter release modes include Single-frame mode, Continuous, Mechanical, and Electronic. Other shutter modes available with the compact digital camera include Self-timer, Delayed Remote, Quick Response Remote, and Interval Timer Shooting.

Very frustrated. Received different lense in a lot worse condition than described. Scratches, dust and moisture with fungus inside of the lens, when It clearly stated there isn't any. Buyer refused to provide shipping label or allow for shipping cost, and communication was near to non existent. Seller does not respond, I'm out of £47 import duty, have to pay for my own shipping back to seller or just pay for lens to be repaired. Do not recommend buying from him.

    Nikon 1 V1: Fun and Fast Underrated Shooter

    A camera line much-maligned in its time that has developed a cult following, much like the Pentax Q. It has limited filters and deserved a better lens lineup, but it's light, lightning fast, and, again like the Pentax Q, fun. I have the V2 and j5 cameras in the now-discontinued Nikon 1 line, but this, the original, is my favorite for quick outings.
