Product Information

NanoBreaker is designed to offer fast-paced combat action in a distant sci-fi future. Once an incredible boon to all human endeavors, microscopic nano-machines have begun to harvest the blood of their hosts in order to construct an army of killer machines. Players take control of humanity's last hope -- a mechanically augmented warrior who wields a transformable plasma blade weapon. It will take quick reflexes and good technique to stave off the seemingly endless advance of enemy units deployed by the nanotechnology, but the cyborg hero must prevail. In addition to the story-driven adventure, a "Time Attack" mode provides quick, pick-up-and-play hack-and-slash adventure.

    Nanobreaker won't break your boredom

    This game has to be one of the worst games to be released on the Playstation 2. When it first came out it was $50 at most stores and in less than a year it was dropped down to $14, I've even seen it for $9. I bought it for $9 and I wish I had just went out to eat or something. First, the game controls are brutal and not in a good way. There is a dif between challenging and poor game design and sadly Nanobreaker falls under the poor game design group. The manual is of little use because you can press the buttons in the order it describes and nothing happens. Plus, this game, graphic wise, looks like an upgraded Playstation one title.     Blast from the Past

    Cutscenes are fun to watch and bosses are hard to beat. Most fun come from slicing and dicing your foes in halves. Really fun to watch your sword changes into different shapes ,sizes and colors by commanding certain combos. As a Contra series fun, I really like the grisly design of the game.
