Beautiful book, quality product!
Another one with Rosemund Pilcher at her best. The book looked like new, amazing value, great company to work with. I had lost my copy so now I have a great replacement. I love her others too, "The Shell Seekers," "September," "Winter Solstice, " to make a few. I read them all twice a year, and it's bittersweet when the final page is turned!

A great read with lots of info about what life was like for people living through WW 2.
I’ve read this book two, maybe three times in the past. But, there is so much to enjoy! It is a history lesson on the Second World War, geography on England ( especially Cornwall), and of course lots of relationships all woven into the story!

Coming Home
I loved this book. It is written in Pilcher's style, made well-known by her best novel, The Shell Seekers. The story and characters are extremely well developed. Her writing style is the best I have ever read, every sentence is perfect, descriptive style is superb, as always, you want to read every single word, and the only regret is when you have finished the book. In my opinion, Rosamunde Pilcher is one of the best authors I have ever read.I loved this book. It is written in Pilcher's style, made well-known by her best novel, The Shell Seekers.
