Most relevant reviews

  • Ecology & Field Biology 6th Edition -lousy textbook!

Worst textbook I have ever had to work with; there were dozens of typos, which made it pretty hard to read. The style is really dry--it just gives information, without trying to make it interesting at all. I didn't find it very helpful to learn the content because there were a lot of examples, but they never actually break down the concept for you.

  • Good book.

The books was as described. It does the job. Has some wear and tear but not enough to throw it in the trash heap. Unfortunately, I never use the book because my teach gave us really good class notes. Oh well. The figures, tables, and graphs in the book are really nice to look.

  • Ecology

I needed this book for my ecology class. I really like it because it is very helpful in my class and goes right along with what the teacher is talking about. It also has very helpful pictures and charts that help me understand something that i do not understand but just reading.

  • Useful book, accessible content

I bought the book for class. The content is a little basic but very accessible, and the chapter summaries are helpful for review.

  • Ecology textbook

I got the textbook through half.com because it was significantly cheaper than getting it through my bookstore. Although the product could have been shipped quicker, it was shipped within the time period listed by the seller. Good product, and good seller that I would do business with again.
