A nice old doll for a collector
Her skirt is made out of pleather that will crack, and while there are nicer things I could collect, I still chose this doll because of my love for the animated series. While Poison Ivy did a better job at bringing accurate details, Supergirl was the right price for $18. At certain angles, her neck doesn’t look abnormally long, and you can put her in some poses where her lack of articulation doesn’t matterHer skirt is made out of pleather that will crack, and while there are nicer things I could collect, I still chose this doll because of my love for the animated series. One thing will always happen. The blue skirt will flake in the back behind the cape. That’s not the seller’s fault though. The materials used to coat the skirt sweats and adhere red to the cape. No real fix I know of but it won’t continue to deteriorate if you spray some hairspray on it and let it air dry over night with nothing touching it. It will still be a little sticky but I’m sure someone will come up with a better solution. I think using see through nail polish and letting that air dry would probably work better.
