Great upgrade, but some prep is NECESSARY.
These look good and are well made, aside from one thing. You ABSOLUTELY need to open up all 6 bolt holes, in both halves of every wheel, before you try to assemble them. Just a little, but it has to be done. I'm not sure if it's just the paint thickness, or if the holes are slightly undersized. But out of the package, the bolts will try to thread into the rims themselves, instead of the aluminum hub. The bolts must pass through the holes freely, so that they'll be able to pull the two halves together. If they thread into/bind in the bolt holes in the rims, the rim halves wont come together correctly, assembly will be nearly impossible, and it's very easy to start cross threading the hubs. Other than that, they add some weight, allow glue free tire changes, and they're formed and painted ... These look good and are well made, aside from one thing. They're perfectly in scale, lower the CG, and almost completely eliminate tire rub (which is extreme with the stock, oversized tires). Bigger tires look and work fine on the Deadbolt version, but this size is the way to go with all the other bodies. One last note: If all you have is the Allen key that came with you're SCX24, you'll need to get yourself a basic set of Allen drivers. The wheel bolts use a larger size than the rest of the truck. Real allen drivers are easier to use, and fit better anyway.

Great wheels by Rc4Wd. Terrible to put together. I used the paper clip method. 4pc design. 6 little 1.5mm screws hold each wheel together. Satisfied after assembly.

Using stock set up yes! But if you have upgraded spindle lock nuts for the wheel u have to drill out the center.
