About this product

Product Information

Though teenage Wong Fei Hong (Jackie Chan) is the son of a martial arts teacher, he'd much rather clown around and get in and out of trouble on the streets of Hong Kong than learn kung fu. When one of his pranks causes injury to the son of a powerful man, his father calls in a sadistic uncle to teach Fei Hung some self-discipline. The uncle specializes in a bizarre form of kung fu known as the "Drunken Boxer," and after losing a fight with a local assassin who has been hired to kill his father, Fei Hung realizes that it may be worth learning. This martial arts classic was the second collaboration between Chan and director Yuen Woo Ping, fight choreographer for THE MATRIX and CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON.

  • Drunken Master Is A Very Good Cult Classic!

This movie is has a cult following and that's because of Mr. Jackie Chan and his comedic but awesome Kung Fu fighting ability which he is known for. Chan stars as Fei Hung a young man that always seems to get into trouble. First, by making advances to a young woman who turns out to be his cousin and fighting her mother! Then trying to help a merchant by beating up a thief who stole from him, only to have the family come to his house and demand that he be taught a lesson by his father. His father being a proud and disciplined man was not pleased with Fei Hung and subjects him to grueling hours of kung fu and to learn kung fu by a master who is very harsh on his students. So, Fei Hung runs away. Fei Hung gets it together and becomes serious when another fighter degrades him, puts down his ...

  • tons of kcuk fu fun

This is a classic Jackie Chan Kung fu flick. One of his best. Follows the tale of the mischievous son of a kung fu master. Even with all the punishments and training his father puts him threw his son can’t seem to stay out of trouble. In a last ditch effort to “break the demon” in his son, Jackie Chan is sent to do intense training with his uncle only to find that the secret kung fu training will one day save his and his father’s life.

  • Absolute best martial arts movie ever filmed!

I've seen this movie over 100 times! This combines Jackie Chan's comic style with high quality martial arts fighting. Most viewers will probably not like it the first time. The film is definitely not high-budget, film quality is not digital-perfect and the english audio-dubbing is the usual... However, if you really like the classic storyline of a young, bratty martial arts student who: 1. Loses family member. 2. Gets mad, but can't do anything about it. 3. Trains up through brutal martial arts training. 4. Gets revenge. then, you must own this movie!!!!
