  • Great book! Well worth the price I paid. Wish I had seen the exhibit itself

Book is an exhibit catalog for a fascinating exhibit which took place at the Guggenheim Museum years ago. If you have any strong interest in Precolumbian Cultures such as the Aztecs, then you should get a copy of this catalog. Good photos and good descriptions of dozens of important artifacts from not just the Aztec Empire but other ancient, Mesoamerican cultures as well, such as that of Teotihuacan, etc. Many of the featured artifacts until this exhibit had not left the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City. A must for the lay or professional person interested in or studying the ancient Aztecs and their predecessors.
