  • Doc Holliday by Karen Holliday Tanner

Very informitive & well written. Tanner had a neutral attitude which I never expected from a family member. She called it like it was based upon a vast amount of research. I'm a western gunfighter history buff & this is the best that I've ever read. She had to have spent hundreds of hours to aquire all of the research used. The fact is divided from the fiction & any possible gray areas were furnished with all possible information, to let you decide for yourself. She included many maps, pictures, & copies of important documents. The personal family materials were outstanding & had never been fully released to the public. This book is a must for Old West historians.

  • Excellent story!

  • Doc Holliday

My husband and I watch old western movies on tv and there are so many with the character Doc Holliday that we were curious about the real man. This is an excellent book, well written, very informative with a genealogy of Holliday's family. It was written by a distant relative who had access to family records and pictures. I highly recommend this book if you are interested.
