Vandal resistant and weatherproof
I found the installation instruction swell written and easy to follow. Only disadvantage is that the factory has pre-punched some of the mounting holes. You may not need all of them, and the remaining will need to be sealed to prevent water intrusion. There are 2 drain holes in the bottom that should not be sealed. A healthy bead of sealant around the back will keep rain and snow out of the mounting and wire access holes. The two relays are rated for different amps, #1 5A and #2 1A. #2 is perfect for dry contact closures such as functioning as a push button to open/close an electric gate. Programming instructions are easy to follow. 1000 users for relay #1 and 100 users for relay 32 should meet most people's need. No proximity card reader feature and no recording of user inputs ... Built in logic allows for programming of a man-trap entry, tamper, alarm shunt and many other features. I guarantee you will will not use many features. I loved the ability to turn off the keypad backlights, or have them come on when a key is touched. This allows the keypad to lie dormant without drawing attention to itself. Beeper function can also be turned off. It is not that loud, so I didn't bother. Overall a good value for the money, given it's LIFETIME WARRANTY !
