    An enjoyable listen and buy!

    Ingrid Michaelson's heart felt lyrics aren't just cute and fun, but also poetic and easy to relate to. If I were the type to keep a diary, I would have these words in it. Behind the catchy and infectious music are words of a women discovering the truth of love, longing, and loss. Finding someone that makes you feel like you won't die alone, and thinking they must be a masochist for having any interest. I've had this cd on repeat since I bought it.

    This cd is for anyone looking for the truth of love...

    Ingrid Michaelson has the ability to tell her story through the first words of her song. You know who she and what she wants to tell just by listening to her songs. "The Way I Am" is the most beautiful and simple song, although the lyrics are poignant and tell the truth of how people feel about others. "Far Away" was a shocker for me. I started listening to it and found that I wanted to be in a car, laughing and dancing in the wind while this song played on the radio. "Corner of Your Heart" is haunting, blending the sounds of the city into a beautiful cascade of melody. The words strike you and you know the depth and perhaps insanity of love. All in all, the cd is amazing!

    Better than good- edgier than I expected.

    If you, like me, were introduced to Ingrid M. via the Old Navy commercial that features her adorable and charming "The Way I Am" you might be surprised by Boys and Girls. There are a couple other "tender" songs (such as Breakable)but there are also some heavier offerings. Ingrid's smooth, jazzy, extremely feminine voice balances these harder songs very nicely. Don't miss the hidden track 12. It's another gem.

    Girls and Boys CD by Ingrid Michaelson

    Ingrid Michaelson is a beautiful vocalist with lilting and soothing musical quality to her songs without being overly emotional or depressing. The one qualm with this CD is that it has a couple repeated songs from "Be OK", her newest CD. There are many tracks worth buying the album for, such as "Highway" and "December Baby", so it is a good investment for anyone who likes Ingrid Michaelson or artsts like Rachael Yamagata, Priscilla Ahn, or Feist.

    Ingrid Michaelson Girls and Boys

    Excellent this cd was everything I wanted it to be and then some. She has a great voice and her twist of saying is refreshing. Easy Listening and easy on the ear. The songs will play over in your mind for days.
