Reviews
"This is the book that every PhD student in the social sciences or humanities in Canada needs to read. Drawing on years of experience within and beyond the university setting, Berdahl and Malloy deftly reveal the 'hidden curriculum' of doctoral education in Canada, providing a guide to the unwritten rules and expectations that PhD students are too often left to discover on their own." --Lisa Young, Dean of Graduate Studies, University of Calgary "Recognizing that students have diverse values, aspirations, and opportunities, Berdahl and Malloy wisely skip the cookie-cutter advice and instead offer a framework to help students make decisions that are right for them. Work Your Careeris the most informed and thoughtful PhD and career guide I have read -- required reading for students and the faculty who mentor them." --Daniel Munro, Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto "It is refreshing to read a book about graduate school that neither presumes academia is the desired career outcome nor implies it ought to be. Instead, the authors encourage readers to keep their options open and rightly point out the benefits of training, professionalism, and varied work experience to careers within and beyond the ivory tower." --Jennifer Polk, Beyond the Professoriate, " Work Your Career is a breath of fresh air, in that it is directed not only at scholars pursuing academic careers but also at those who may be struggling and may face a decision that leads them towards what is often regarded as a non-traditional route outside of academia." --Dana Gold, University of Western Ontario, Canadian Journal of Political Science 1-3

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
