Disney's Snow White it ain't
The FABLES stories are all excellent. These are not the stories we heard as children, but more like the real adult lives behind the stories. In 1001 Nights of Snowfall, our heroine, Snow White, envoy from Fabletown, has traveled to the fabled lands of Arabia, seeking an alliance between those kingdoms and the fables in exile. The Adversary has brutally and bloodily conquered lands far and wide, so Snow White seeks a mutual-aid pact. She is however, although ignored at first, taken as one the Sultan's wives, to be disposed of after one night, in the same manner as Scheherazade, who, indeed, makes an appearance. Snow White embarks on a series of stories, about Fabletown itself and its history. The stories run a wide gamut from the fantastic to the terrible, and all of varying ... The FABLES stories are all excellent. These are not the stories we heard as children, but more like the real adult lives behind the stories. I bought this book because I read other books in the series by this author. The book is awesome a fun and enchanting read.
