Written with elegant spareness, there are no punches pulled in this portrait of Nathaniel Ayers, but God do you root and hope and pray for him. Many books claim to be about redemption and the affirmation of the human spirit, but they are false gospels. The Soloistis singularly and unforgettably true in all respects.” —Buzz Bissinger, author of Friday Night Lights, “Written with elegant spareness, there are no punches pulled in this portrait of Nathaniel Ayers, but God do you root and hope and pray for him. This is an outstanding seller to deal with. Fair prices that are more than reasonable in this economy. The product is in better condition than described, a true value for my money. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products he sells to arrive in excellent condition. The seller is friendly and communicates timely with his customers. I highly recommend this seller and would do business again anytime. Thank you.

  • Sad Reality

Here's a good look at just how fragile the human mind is; and life on the streets for the less fortunate. This is a good read.

  • Eye-opening read

This was an amazing book about the power of music, the world of the mentally ill, the life of a street person, and the unlikely friendship of two men. I hear the movie is not much like the book and hope you'll read the book first and then MAYBE see the movie.

  • Great, inspirational read.

I wanted to read this book before the movie comes out and I'm very glad that I did. It was a quick read, but no less poignant.
