This piece arrived broken. No buffer box used, the classic Disney box was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and brown paper as the outer layer, expected to survive international shipping but is heavily damaged! I’ve been attempting to deal with the seller “hardtofindrare” which he/she truly is as per EBay instructions but no resolve and my time for refund is running out. A note to sellers please…. The box, packing is as important to the provenance of the sculpture as the piece itself!!

I don't even know what country this character lives in. I have sent these WDCC pieces all over the USA with no problems. I was convinced by eBay customer service to allow international shipping, and eBay would handle the problems. I sent this piece to the USA interntional shipping hub with no problems. EBay sent it this guy's home in whatever country he is in, I don't even know.

low budget but one of my 10 most favourite movies
I don't believe that much in conspiracy theories (where state or private secret organizations control our lives, minds etc), but the way this film is unknown makes you wonder. After all i don't think any state wants families to see a movie where a soldier son comes home from war as Andy did. Anyway this is a film which is related to the war in Vietnam. In the plot there is a working-class father who kind of wants his son to be tough, a caring mother who understands the sensitive nature of her son and loves him too much, a sister, a girlfriend, friends, policemen, a dog, neighbor kids, a small town, anything a good horror movie needs. And of course Andy Brooks, the star of the film, the son who went to Vietnam to fight and came back with some problems. The story is quite ... The final scene with the mother and the son is almost heart breaking. I think John Marley and Lynn Carlin are very good in their roles as the father and mother; Richard Backus is also great as Andy Brooks. I enjoyed very much this film when i first saw it, about 30 years ago, and i was very happy to see it in DVD today. I still consider it as one of the best horror films, and as one of my ten most favorite movies (some others are Terminator 1, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Out of Sight etc.).

SO appropriate
This movie is classic for its genre. If you love "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" then this movie is for you. It has all the cheesy effects, plot lines,etc like all the best of the worse from the late 70's/early 80's that we all know (and though we hate to admit) LOVE. Both this movie and "Children.." have the magic cheesy touch of the great Alan Ormsby - who is absolutely one of a kind. Two thumbs up for Alan having cast his sister - Anya Ormsby in both classic flicks!This movie is classic for its genre. Deathdream is a film lightyears ahead of it's time, filmed while vietnam was still an ongoing conflict it centers around a young soldier over there and his family at home. The story is essentially a rehash of the short tale ' the monkey's paw' which is a lesson in fate. When the family gets news their son Andy has passed he is wished home by his mother not quite the same. An excellently scripted and acted story and one of Tom Savini horror guru's first. A great lost horror movie
If you like "let's scare Jessica to death" Or George Romero's"Martin" This is your movie.(nice and bleak) It pretty obscure and after you watch it you will understand why. For it deals with the Vietnam war and what it did to soldiers and there family's even by using a horror theme the movie has a strong message behind it. So check it out!
