    Typical Lowrance

    Twenty bucks for ten cents worth of plastic, two zip ties and a fifty cent hose clamp. Typical overpriced accessory from Lowrance. Whether it will actually protect the transducer from impacts common to troll motor use, especially in shallow rocky areas remains to be seen, but as a mounting device it does the job so 4 stars for that. When you compare this item to other things that twenty bucks will buy it's a tough pill to swallow, but if you want to mount a specific transducer to a troll motor with minimum exposure and as tight to the motor as possible, suck it up Bubba and fork out twenty bucks.

    Could be better

    Great product. Easy install. Only complaint is wish was made of something a little harder than the plastic. Does work pretty good though. Will have to be careful. Doesn't make your transducer bulletproof.

    Good product but these brackets are notoriously fragile. They break easily.

    Right product for the right sensor

    It's the right holder, works great, this is the third one in 10 years, so they are very durable. It takes a lot and I mean a lot of rock beating to break this housing.
