This is a way to connect to the internet for less than £9 using software loaded on a new flash drive. You have a choice of 32 or 64 bit. It will run windows software as well as a vast array of linux software. So the quality and appearance are as good as usual. I have got my Dell inspirion 1501 its 32 bit which is 20 years old working. Not everyone wants to spend their money on a new laptop. A lot of working families can't aford a new one

Being a Windows customer for many years I am 80, had a few problems in installing the system on a very old laptop, did manage to do install it, but found the very O/S complicated. I was considering changing from my non supported Windows 10 to Linux, but not so sure now, might have to bite the bullet and replace my desk top computer for a windows 11 model

Had to do a bit of screen dragging during installation to see the 'NEXT' option at the bottom of the page but no real bother after discovering ALT+MOUSE CLICK held down and dragging the window upwards. That was a problem of the Netbook not the USB Stick but folks are likely to install Mint on this type of old notebook
