After 6 hours, I counted 964 springtails here, not 1000... In all seriousness though there were plenty in the container, it was packaged very well to allow ventilation, but also prevent escapees. Definitely a good value compared to shops in my area. I recommend purchasing from this seller.

So item description said 1000+ when it arrived there was barely 50 of them in there...did contact seller and the seller stated that the rest of them must have died in transit....and very quickly refunded me....just be careful people
