"Even those of us without an affinity for winter will feel the draw of the season in the still landscapes clarified by white....As a New England resident, Rees's approach is to make the place where you live and garden enjoyable in every season. This is a lesson for all gardeners, no matter where you live." -- The American Gardener ,, ""Even those of us without an affinity for winter will feel the draw of the season in the still landscapes clarified by white....As a New England resident, Rees's approach is to make the place where you live and garden enjoyable in every season. This is a lesson for all gardeners, no matter where you live." - The American Gardener , ", ""Here is an entire book devoted to designing a garden that will be pleasing to enjoy in winter despite the limitations....Rees, a gardener and horticulturist in Maine (where winter can last seven months), uses the expertise she's accumulated to highlight the seemingly small choices that can have a big impact during the fallow months between growing seasons. Where most gardening books that refer to winter focus on those warmer climates, this is a rare treat that concentrates on enjoying the garden even at a time when it must be done from indoors." - ALA Booklist, ", ""If you have any garden at all, you will want to get this book. And if you have a view of a neighbor's garden, you need to give them this book. (After you read it first)." - The Washington Gardener , ", ""Part garden guide, part therapy for gardeners who count the days before they can get their hands back into the soil and part visual treat. The photos aren't large - this is not a coffee table book left out to impress visitors to your home. Instead it is a smaller, quieter book that correctly reflects the mood of winter. Take the time to examine each photo of a snow-covered fence or barren landscape and you'll see beauty." - Akron Beacon Journal , ", "[A] clever and original argument that a winter garden can be as visually, mentally and physically beautiful as any summer garden -- all it takes is some imagination, planning and preparation....Rees will awaken gardeners to all the possibilities for winter gardening, making many folks say, 'Why didn't I think of that?'" - Kennebec Journal, ""Maine landscape designer Cathy Rees shares inspirational photographs and sound approaches for developing an attractive, functional, year-round garden....Winterland proposes a new way of thinking for gardeners in all climates, designed around the seasons. Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
