Very smooth and easy to use. Do need to shake bottle or mix extra well, or it may present more of a rose gold tone. By far, the best liquid leaf available!

Better than I expected
This was my first experience with this paint, and it won't be my last. I was delighted with the results. I tried it out on an antique vase that I own. The vase was in perfect condition except for a significant sized spot where some of the gold leaf paint was completely worn off in the middle of a gold band encircling the vase. I touched up the bare spot with the Liquid Leaf, and it blended in so well with the rest of the gold that I can't even tell where I did it. Not only does it work so well, but it is extremely easy to use and dries fast. This was my first experience with this paint, and it won't be my last. I was delighted with the results. So easy to use.
This is a great buy. Don't be turned off by this small bottle because a little goes a long way. And it was very easy to use. This picture had a brown wood frame and just did nothing for it so I did the gold leaf on it. And I love it.

This product is amazing!!! The best imitation for gold foils genuine gold or a faux one. So easy to use and the result speaks certainly by itself. During time it will age a bit and will look stunning. As a paint brush color of gold tint i use only Liquid Leaf by Plaid. All of the shades are amazing but my most favortie is Classic Gold... So get yours now and let others to eat cake... (:
