Them is sci-fi at its Best!!
Them is like no other sci-fi. It has excellent dialogue, VERY good actors, and the story keeps moving forward. James Arness and James Whitmore r terrific! I have always loved this movie. And the giant ants? Well, let's just say u won't look at an ant mound in the same way again!

A Must-See, A Must-Have!!
I remember watching this movie as a child. It was a commentary on the unknown factor of atomic research. Being old enough now to critique it should be an advantage, right? WRONG!! It still terrorizes. The special effects are amazing. The characters are well-developed. The message is gripping and I have no intention of ever visiting LA! If you're into sci-fi, you will love this movie! "Them" is a horde of radioactive giant ants who breed and colonize eventually making their way from New Mexico to the LA sewer system where they wreak the required havoc along the way. This movie pulls you into the full gamut of human emotion...all done in black and white! A must for your next moviethon.I remember watching this movie as a child. Them! VHS Movie
The movie reminds me of a special time when I was a young girl. This, back then was a scary movie and my grandpa sneaked my sister and I into a movie theater to see it. The movie is a little corny but the quality of the tape was great. The characters in the movie were great and bring to mind how an actor with no acting skill could come a long way. I decided to buy the movie because I have always remembered it as one I have always liked and because of the reminders of my childhood.The movie reminds me of a special time when I was a young girl.
