Mildew smell is pretty prominent. Since they are not used the elastic is still intact but over the passing of time it is lost a bit if it's elasticity. It doesn't support a man's privates very well due to the factor of not having full elasticity along the pouch border. Also I would not call this a 3-inch waistband.
