  • Great book for any Jimmy Johnson fans

Well written autobiography that offers some interesting insight into Jimmy Johnson's coaching career up until just after the Super Bowl XXVII win. He skips over nothing, including his stints at Miami and Oklahoma State. Also covered in detail is the infamous 1-15 '89 Cowboys season. All the highs and lows are here...although I'd have liked more attention on the games themselves (The 1988 "Catholics vs. Convicts" game is only discussed on 2 pages whereas an autobiography on Lou Holtz devoted an entire chapter to it) Definately one of the better football books I've read. Highly recommended.
