Jean-Claude Chesneau, dit Stanis, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète français, né le 2 octobre 1944 à Saint-Jean de Braye (Loiret) Son père est employé à la SNCF et sa mère est secrétaire à la CGE. Tétraplégique à cause d'un plongeon, Jean-Claude perd définitivement l'usage de ses jambes et d'une partie de ses bras et de ses mains. Il a écrit deux ouvrages publiés, et a enregistré plusieurs CD. Il a donné de nombreux concerts. Le 5 juin 1960, tout bascule. A cause d'un mauvais plongeon Jean-Claude reste tétraplégique. Il passera sa vie dans un fauteuil roulant. C'est le temps des idoles et de la télé. Sur l'unique chaîne (en noir et blanc) il se reconnaîtra, rêvant lui aussi d'une impossible carrière, à Chouchou et les idoles de l'émission Age tendre et tête de bois présentée par Albert Raisner. "En 2007, Stanis a rencontré des musiciens pour constituer le Stanis' Band et ils sont prêts pour le spectacle à "L'Espace Diderot" de Challans, le 13 Janvier. Stanis a fixé son répertoire en sélectionnant une soixantaine de chansons. Cela a demandé six mois de travail: sélection des titres, style sixties country, couleur du son des interventions guitares située entre les CCR, Mark Knopfler et The Shadows. Pour définir ce répertoire, il a repris quelques titres de son premier album "Je rêve de toi" et du deuxième "Souvenirs", pour les réorchestrer. L'équipe s'est peu à peu constituée: Management (Maddy), promteur (Amélie), relations publiques (Jean-Marie), ingé-son (Wallis) Aujourd'hui, Stanis est prêt pour démarrer une autre folle aventure, celle de la scène !"
