  • Dark, Brooding, and Insightful!

Incredible European documentary on Lovecraft. The entire production is run against first-person. You are Lovecraft and they tear apart your psyche! Lovecraft is represented physically by a two dimensional cutout that travels from room to room in a confined apartment. Eerie and disturbing. Excellent in-depth study of Lovecraft's motives, drives and pressures. I have studied Lovecraft for 15 years and this disc brought out a new and closer perspective than I have had before. Well worth it!

  • The Case of Howard Phillips Lovecraft

LOVECRAFT MEETS EXPRESSIONIST NARRATOR...Well researched reality documental film that walks through Lovecraft's life with mythic imaging and a dark voice bringing out his silent secrets. Factual and creepy...I enjoyed it very much and it brought out my subconscious memories of de Camp's biographical work.
