    Right part , right fit .

    The car went for 4,000 miles after installation , before the check engine light came back on . Evidently the canister fixed a major cause for the light , but there are still other issues , that are not the fault of the canister .

    you have to replace it. there is nothing else you can do. if you do not pass the emissions inspection you do not get a vehicle sticker.
