About this product

Product Information

'This important book demonstrates inspiring, practical innovations... and shows how, together, they can weave an entirely new fabric for society.' Jeremy Lent, author of The Patterning Instinct and The Web of Meaning 'A treasure-trove of ideas for practical world-changers.' Prof. Rupert Read, author of Why climate breakdown matters and Co-Director of the Moderate Flank 'A powerful step toward achieving the world we need.' Prof Nathan Schneider, author of Everything for Everyone: The Radical Tradition that Is Shaping the Next Economy We desperately need a new economic system to help us avert the environmental crisis. This book describes the new system we need, and it shows us how to build it. In Building Tomorrow, Paddy Le Flufy brings together six organisational technologies being developed and implemented by pioneering experts. Each of them fundamentally redesigns a key element of our economic system. Together, they can transform it into a new system - one that can help us avoid the catastrophe looming on the horizon. The book aims directly at creating systemic change by providing people with both a holistic vision of a new economic system and the tools with which to build it. The majority of the writing is about positive real-world examples and potential future developments, which show how people throughout society (such as the readers) can themselves help build the new system. Those that do will be creating a better world. 'It's such a relief - and a wonder - to engage with real, deep, granular thinking on exactly how we create systemic change... Essential reading for everyone who needs to know how we move forward.' Manda Scott, author and host of the Accidental Gods podcast

Reviews
'This important book demonstrates inspiring, practical innovations already being implemented and shows how, together, they can weave an entirely new fabric for society.' Jeremy Lent, author of The Patterning Instinct and The Web of Meaning 'Building Tomorrow is exactly what my students are looking for: multiple examples of solutions and strategies for... building a new economy within planetary boundaries. I really look forward to sharing the examples Paddy explores with my students.' Prof Julia Steinberger, University of Lausanne 'A great read for anyone wanting to learn about better ways to organise our economy and make a transformative change towards sustainability.' Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett, co-authors of The Spirit Level and The Inner Level 'A treasure-trove of ideas for practical world-changers. Our world now desperately needs guardians for its future: Le Flufy's book offers key elements of a greenprint for how such guardianship might be achieved, even yet.' Prof. Rupert Read, author of Why climate breakdown matters and Co-Director of the Moderate Flank 'Building Tomorrow is an invaluable synthesis of radical ideas that should be common sense. Le Flufy clarifies concepts that I have seen floating around for years but didn't fully understand until reading him. This clarity is a powerful step toward achieving the world we need.' Prof Nathan Schneider, author of Everything for Everyone: The Radical Tradition that Is Shaping the Next Economy 'It's such a relief - and a wonder - to engage with real, deep, granular thinking on exactly how we create systemic change...a coherent imagining of a future that runs by different rules... Essential reading for everyone who needs to know how we move forward.' Manda Scott, author and host of the Accidental Gods podcast

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
