    Texas Conjunto music at it's best!

    Conjunto (Tejano) is a style of traditional folk music every bit as relevant to American Music as the Blues. Max Baca On Bajo Sexto and David Farias on accordion, have recorded a CD featuring 16 tracks of traditional Conjunto at it's very best. The CD also features bassist Oscar Garcia, and Lorenzo Martinez on drums. With legendary accordionist Flaco Jimenez also making a guest appearance. Two Instrumental Polkas are included, along with the rarely heard chotis and redova rhythms. a Huapango and Bolero round out this masterpiece. Four stars.

    Great conjunto music at it's root with David Farias.

    Being familiar with David Farias and La Tropa F, this new CD by the Tex-maniacs is great. Some classic conjunto music at it's roots.

    Texmaniacs, Borders y Bailes

    All I can say is that this CD is Great. It is a super rendition of 16 songs that are really toe tapping and enjoyable to listen to. Max and Farias have rare chemistry and are like listening to conjunto heaven.
