RUSH. Permanent Waves
Rush is the best. This is truly a great album. Natural Science is why I bought it. With Rush, you simply can not go wrong. Permanent Waves is enjoyable and musically masterful from start to finish. Rush always transcends. They are the soundtrack to my life. This is one of their best Studio albums. It rocks out.

Permanent Waves...still making waves for Rush!
What can I say? Rush is Rush...and Permanent Waves is one of their best offerings over the thirty odd years Rush has been making music! The lyrics on this one are sometimes so highly poetic that you have difficulty believing that this is hard, metal-type Rock, and yet the driving guitar rythmns and the fabulous vocals that knock your socks off remind you that it most certainly is! Drummer Neil Peart is at his best with this one, sending the hard-driving rythmn through your entire body, while Geddy Lee soars above the sound to leave us in a pleasant state of shock. Alex lifeson's lyrics are almost too poetic for this music, but heck, who cares? The music is so great, you accept that and go with the flow! Lifeson's guitar is too wonderful to sweat the small stuff! I bought this to add ... What can I say? RUSH at their best!
As far as RUSH goes...it doesn't get any finer than this album! This album is solid platinum from beginning to end, and has the greatest Rush song of all time, "Spirit of Radio" as it's opening track! "Freewill" is probably their second greatest song as well as the second track! "Entre Nous" shows Rush's softer side. "Natural Science" is one of Rush's notable opuses, with some great guitar solo work by Alex Lifeson. Rush - Permanent Waves
An outstanding album from three masters of music. They are true artists. Spirit of the Radio, Freewill, and Jacob's Ladder are the best known tracks. ButEntre Nous, Different Strings, and Natural Science are masterpieces of music as well.
